From promiseto documented delivery.
Retival brings contracts, planning and execution into one shared record. Live forecasts, plain arithmetic and decisions you can trace — all the way to the result.
One method. The whole delivery.
Contract
Agree what counts. Lock it at signature.
Plan
See the achievable range before committing.
Deliver
Update time and cost as work progresses.
Evaluate
Check the result against the signed agreement.
Throughout the delivery
Plain arithmetic. A shared record. Every change visible.
People decide. The evidence and the decision stay together.
The recorded result informs the next estimate.
Deliveries do not fail at the deadline. They fail at the estimate.
Retival challenges a familiar habit: promise a date, report a status, discover the gap too late. Start with the delivery’s actual capacity and make the gap visible before anyone signs.
The gap, before anyone signs.
While a change still costs nothing.

A milestone wanted at week 12, with 1,200 productive hours of committed work. Before the buyer is invited, the range reads 10.91 to 15.00 weeks.
The agreement stays fixed. The forecast keeps moving.
Static estimates, rewritten plans and delayed status reports hide the gap. Retival measures progress against the signed agreement, records every approved change and updates the forecast as work is registered.

The plan as signed is the plan measured.
Signature is the only event that turns a forecast into a commitment.
A change is made in the open.
A signed change adjusts the baseline as a recorded event, and the original is never edited.
Nothing waits for a report.
Every registration updates the forecast at once, so nothing is discovered late because it was waiting for a status meeting.

A delivery passes through the same rooms, from the first draft of its contract to its closed record. People decide in each room; Retival keeps the account. No new timesheet, no new ritual, no new meeting.

What does Retival do?
It shows a delivery's range of finish dates before anyone signs, warns the people with the mandate when a milestone falls outside it, reads the money as well as the time, and keeps one record of the delivery that both sides hold.
Does it fit how we already work?
Scrum, kanban, waterfall or any mixture. The calendar is the one thing every process has. Sprints stay sprints and tasks stay tasks. A team can keep its own tool and connect the engine to it.
Does Retival monitor individual employees?
Retival measures delivery efficiency. It does not monitor individual employees. It shows when an allocation asks a team for more than its own record says it can deliver, before the deadline rather than after it.
Who sees what about me?
Your own load is shown to you. Whoever allocates work sees a band, never your hours. Managers see the team only where it has at least five people.
Does it need AI?
No. The argument stands without AI. AI is an option, off by default, and never produces a number anyone acts on.
Who pays?
The supplier that delivers the work. Its client, and the buyer's people it invites, see it free.
What does it cost?
You pay for the delivery we measure, fixed at the signed baseline: never per seat, never a share of what is recovered, and an overrun never costs you more. Talk to us for a quote.
Can we start with a pilot?
Yes. A pilot starts with your own backtest: a reading of your completed deliveries that shows when the warning would have come, against when you knew. It is priced like any delivery on the platform, with no separate pilot fee.
How does certification work?
Three separate tracks cover personal competence, an organisation’s adoption of the method, and its delivery record. Competence is assessed; adoption is evidenced; delivery ratings are earned from completed deliveries. The scheme is planned and no credentials have been awarded.
Who is behind it?
Retival, a Rexxval company, in Trondheim, Norway. Founded by E. S. Hoyem, with a founding team of five.
