How it works,step by step.
The internal stage
Before any buyer is invited, the date is read against the team's own record. A promise made by sales or an executive is read the moment it is made: week 10 warns both parties, week 12 gives a notice to the planner.
Step 1 / 4
What it does
- Scope, value, the milestone dates and the success criteria are fixed at signature, as the baseline.
- Each signature is recorded: who signed, when, and under which mandate.
- The estimate made before signature is kept beside the committed one and is never overwritten.
- A buyer with access may propose a new delivery, or a change request in one already running, for the supplier to weigh.
- Every change after signature is a variation with its own scope, estimate and approval. The baseline is versioned, never edited.
Who uses it
- The supplier's account side
- The sponsor
- The approver
- The signatory
- The buyer's invited people
What it never does
- Give legal advice.
- Show a buyer the supplier's internal sessions, rates, people or other customers.
- Show legal activity to the people doing the work.
- Adjudicate. Retival evaluates and gives a verdict; it never settles a dispute.
