Why Retival is priced by the delivery, never by the seat
An instrument whose income rose with the outcome would be a party to the delivery. So the price is fixed at the signed baseline.
You pay for the delivery we measure, fixed at the signed baseline. Never per seat, never a share of what is recovered, and an overrun never costs you more.
Who pays
The supplier that delivers the work pays, and knows before it signs whether the date and the cost hold. Its client sees it free, and the buyer's people it invites are never charged.
Why not seats, or a share of savings
The price follows the delivery, not the number of people looking at it. Retival never takes a share of what is saved or recovered, and a delivery that runs late does not cost you more.
“A party to the delivery cannot also be the impartial instrument that measures it.”
An instrument whose income rose with the outcome would be a party to the delivery. Retival is priced against the delivery, never against a tool budget. The price is fixed when the baseline is signed, and it changes only when both parties sign a change.
And a money reading says what a delivery is costing and will cost. It never says what anyone saved.
