Workload and protectionProtect people before the deadline.

An overload shows before the deadline. People are protected without being monitored.

  1. Room for more
  2. Nearly full
  3. Full
  4. Overloaded

The person sees their own band

Whoever allocates sees the band, never the hours

A group under five: too few to show

How the room creates value

How it works,step by step.

Your own band

A person's workload is read from the first hour, across every delivery they are on in one organisation. The person always sees their own band.

Step 1 / 4

What it does

  • Four bands: room for more, nearly full, full, overloaded.
  • Two people who work at different tempos are each read fairly.
  • Only the time given to deliveries is read. The shift is never measured.
  • Before anyone's work is read, the employer records that employee representatives were consulted.

Who uses it

  • The person
  • Whoever allocates work
  • The delivery lead, who sees counts only
  • The employer, through the person it has mandated

What it never does

  • Rank people, read output, or show anyone's hours to anyone but that person.
  • Show managers anything for a group under five.
  • Record why someone was absent. Only the dates are kept.
  • Monitor individual employees.
